As part of our mission to Engage, Encourage, Empower…Educate, the San Benito County Office of Education’s Educational Services Department is dedicated to empower educators to achieve excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. Jivan Dhaliwal, ABD
Director, Curriculum & Instruction and Equity & Access In her 24 year career, Ms. Dhaliwal has been involved in educational leadership and professional development at the district and county level. Her most recent experience allowed her to work side-by-side with district and site level administrators, content area department chairs and teachers to transform classroom instruction to meet the demands of the new standards. Ms. Dhaliwal is finalizing her doctorate in the Leadership for Educational Equity Program (LEEP) at the University of California, Berkeley

Christian Woods
Coordinator, Instructional Support Christian Woods is a student-centered educator dedicated to improving teaching, learning, and leading. She holds a B.A. in Literature from UCSC, an English Single Subject teaching credential, and an M.S. in Educational Administration. Christian’s experience spans over 20 years in education, including teaching, coaching, and curriculum development.
